ThrawnOmega’s Blog on the Gaming Life is the personal blog of Nate Gillick, with the mission of providing fair and objective game reviews, commentary on the game industry, nerd culture, and my own personal insights on the life of a gamer. All are welcome to read what goes up here, and I respond to feedback and comments as often as I can. I value communication with my readers.
At the top of the page, the Home button will bring you to the main page, where the most recent posts are shown.
After the About button, the Completion Challenge tab highlights my annual quest to complete as many games as I can. Clicking on it brings up the official description of what the challenge is. Clicking any of the years below will show my progress for that year.
Click on the Reviews tab for links to every review I’ve written for another site. Feel free to enjoy my reviews for Xbox 360 Achievements in their original context. Below Reviews, clicking on each system will bring you to a list of all on-site reviews for that system, with links and that game’s score. Scrollng over from that system will also show each individual review.
After Reviews comes Polls, where there will be a new poll opened up at least once a month. Stop by and cast your vote! Some will be for fun, some may be for contests, and others may help me learn how to improve this site.
On the right side of the page, you can see my gamercard, followed my quick links to my three most recent posts. You can also look through my archives by month or by post category. Below that is my Twitter feed (follow @ThrawnOmega). Feel free to subscribe to posts via email or RSS.
My Blogroll sits at the bottom of the right column. Any blog that I enjoy and that produces content regularly will be listed here. If you’re one of the folks I link to, I’d love a link back on your page, though that’s not a requirement of being listed on my blogroll. I am selective about what goes on here, so sorry if I don’t include everyone.
