I’m a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, with degrees in both English (Creative Writing) and Sociology. I have loved to write for as long as I know how, completing my first short story (riddled with incorrect spelling and bad drawings) in first grade. Eventually, I hope to use my writing talent to get a job within the game industry, and/or complete some of my novel ideas and become a published novelist. Since I love writing so much, this blog is a great outlet to discuss my other love, video games.
I got started on gaming young with Mario 3 and Bubble Bobble on the NES. My inner gamer came more strongly to the fore during the peak of the N64 era with Mario 64, the Zelda games, Quest 64, Banjo Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. By the time I got a PS2, I was a dedicated gamer for life. Now, I enjoy gaming on the 360, and to a lesser extend the PC and PS3. Achievements have to be the best idea to come to gaming ever, and I am now on a never-ending quest to rack up the highest score I can.
